Medohara guggulu is a Guggulu based tablet preparation,  prepared out of herbal ingredients.

Indication: Used in Obesity, musculoskeletal disorders and Rheumatoid arthritis.

Dose : 500 mg to 1 grams Two times a day after food along with water or adjuvant(Anupana) as per the diseaseas.

Side effects: No known side effects,Over dose may induce gastric irritation. Use this medicine under medical supervision.

Method of preparation of Kashayam: In an Iron vessel little water and guggulu heated till guggulu becomes soft. then mix the fine powder of all ingredients and pounded well. Prepare the tablets of 500 mg or 1 grams and dry under shade.

Method  of Storage: Stored in airtight container in dry place.

Ayurvedic Properties of Medohara Guggulu:

Roga karma: Kaphajarogas, meda and amavata.

Dosha karma: Kaphavatahara.

Agni karma: Deepana.
