Triphala guggulu is a Guggulu based tablet preparation,  prepared out of herbal ingredients.

Indication: Piles, fistula, abscess, obesity and inflammatory conditions.

Dose : 500 mg to 1 grams Two times a day after food along with water or adjuvant(Anupana) as per the diseases.

Side effects: No known side effects,Over dose may induce gastric irritation. Use this medicine under medical supervision.

Method of preparation of Kashayam: Fine powder of all ingredients mixed with guggulu and pounded well. Prepare the tablets of 500mg or 1 grams and dry under shade.

Method  of Storage: Stored in airtight container in dry place.

Ayurvedic Properties:

Roga karma:Bhagandara, gulma, shotha, arshas and Vidradhi.

Dosha karma: Kaphavatahara

Agni karma: Deepana

Other karmas: Srotoshodhana, medohara, Kledahara, vranashodhana and ropana.
